About us

 

    DeVolus D. Parker was raised in a God fearing home by loving parents.  His father instilled values and principles of life, while his mother balanced the plate with Christian values and principles of faith.  At a very young age it was evident that God had answered his mothers’ prayers, “Lord, use my children and keep them.”  His mother joined Abundant Life Ministries during DeVolus’ early childhood.  There Pastor T.L. Hughey became his spiritual father and poured the word of God into him.

     

     In 1995 DeVolus Parker married Leisha Cash, and God gave to their union three wonderful children Isaiah, Jonathan and Korryn. In 2000, DeVolus stopped running from what God called him to do. He began teaching and preaching the Word of God as minister of the gospel. In 2007, the Honorable Bishop Samuel L. Green ordained DeVolus as an elder of the Church of God In Christ.

     

     In 2012 Elder Parker founded Agape Family Life Ministries.   He and his family desire to serve their community by displaying the LOVE OF CHRIST through servitude. He served as a Sunday School teacher and Finance Dept. Chairman at Abundant Life.  He is a certified facilitator of the Richmond Family Fatherhood Initiative and Postmaster of Quinton, VA.  Most of all, Elder Parker loves to serve the Lord.
